ABOUT THE EVENT
Field Day is part contest, part picnic, part campout, and 100% fun. It’s our annual chance to practice emergency communications under simulated field conditions while making contacts on HF, VHF, and more!
We’ll be operating portable with multiple stations, testing equipment, welcoming visitors, eating great food, and enjoying good company. New hams and the public are always encouraged to stop by and see ham radio in action.
On-site testing will be available for those wishing to upgrade their license or obtain a new one!
Schedule :
Friday 2PM - We will be setting up the antennas. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to assist!
Saturday 8AM - Breakfast at Big G's - 602 S Main St, Columbia City, IN 46725
